Skid Car Training - Individuals
Our Skid Car Training course here at Donington Park is quite superb value at just £79. The course is structured in such a way that everyone will benefit; whatever their ability may be at the start. Importantly, this course is not about teaching drivers to skid but teaching them what the causes of a skid are; in reality this then allows drivers to recognise these factors when driving in the ‘real world’ providing them the skills to avoid getting into trouble in the first place. The experience lasts for 1 ½ hours (shared with up to 2 other drivers), during which time drivers will learn exactly what causes a skid as our experienced trainer guides them through both the theory and practical in easy steps, guiding and encouraging as they go. The course is appropriate for drivers of all standards as our Skid Cars allow us to select a wide variety of surfaces from wet through to sheet ice; and we can even take the car’s tyres completely off the road as drivers experience what aquaplaning is like! Best of all is that the course provides huge amounts of fun as well as invaluable lessons, some of which may even one day save a life.
