Donington Park Drivers Club

D&S Events has been instrumental in putting together this unique drivers club.  The first ever DPDC day is on the 7th November and there is still space to sign up for one of the superb driving activities, or better still, buy your loved one an open 6 month voucher.  All of the experiences last for two hours with the exception of gravel rally that lasts for half a day.  The Driving Dynamics session includes one hour in both the Skid Car and one of our Fiesta ST’s, learning about weight transfer and braking techniques in the Emergency Reaction Training session.  Other activities include 4x4 Off Road and Early Drive, where if you are tall enough to reach the pedals, you can drive for the first time here at Donington Park.  Membership of the DPDC comes free of charge with your experience and entitles the holder to 10% discount on future experiences, entrance to the GP Museum and in the museum café for a period of one year.  Prices start from just £65 and for more information click http://www.donington-park.co.uk/experience-days/donington-park-drivers-club.

Drive a Caterham

Recent Events

D&S Events has just this month run two treasure hunts, the first involved 8 classic cars for a ‘City’ firm and their clients starting and finishing at Cliveden House with lunch at Heston Blumenthal’s Hind’s Head pub in Bray.  The teams had to plan their own route from OS maps with each clue given as a map reference!  Digital cameras were supplied with which to photograph the answers. 

The second event was for 50 employees from a Newbury based firm who were at the end of a three day conference.  The event was a 3 hour walking treasure hunt around the beautiful and historic City of Oxford.  The event concluded with dinner and river cruise from Oxford to Abingdon.

Both events went off hugely successfully and despite the widely different budgets, everyone was treated as a VIP. http://www.dandsevents.co.uk/treasure-hunts.asp

Classic Car Treasure Hunts from £230

Donington Park News Update

July 11th 2010 sees the British F1 Grand Prix return to Donington Park for the first time since 1938.  Work at the Leicestershire circuit is now well underway with brand new pits & paddock, new clubhouse and various new track sections all under construction.  For full plans, including video simulation of the new circuit visit http://www.donington-park.co.uk/formula-one

Drive it All
