Donington Park - Still as busy as ever for D&S Events!

It’s certainly been an interesting time over the last year here at Donington; firstly, we had F1 then we had no F1 and by Christmas our landlords went into administration. However, through all of this D&S Events has been busy continuing to deliver a wide range of events both here at Donington and at other venues around the UK. We are still based in the Paddock here at Donington and Kevin Wheatcroft, the landowner, is our new landlord. Other than the main circuit (due to reopen soon) all of the other facilities here are up and running and can all be booked through us. New Commercial Vehicle Launch

Following a January cancellation due to the terrible weather, February has seen us working closely with several other agencies to deliver the new VW evolved T5 Transporter here at Donington. Utilising the Paddock Suite and Launch Pad facilities, 120 customers a day experienced a launch presentation, a road test drive, a product familiarisation session and a dynamic driving element showing off all of the new vehicles’ many attributes. D&S Events was responsible for all venue hire, catering and the driving dynamics design and delivery element. Proof indeed that Donington Park is still open for business!

Mobility Roadshow 2010

This year’s event takes place on the 1st, 2nd & 3rd July at the East of England Showground and D&S Events will once again be managing the test drive route as well as building and managing the 4x4 off road course. Chelsea Football Club – D&S Events’ newest conference       venue

January 2010 saw us deliver a two day conference for 150 clients with us organising all AV, dinner, entertainment and hotel accommodation at Stamford Bridge, the home to Chelsea Football Club. Venue finding started in November and saw us visit some 20 venues before the client settled on Chelsea. The event was a huge success but don’t just take our word for that as here is what our client has said;

New for 2010 - Supercar Treasure Hunt

Now is the time to get your spring & summer events booked up and what could be better than driving around some beautiful scenic English countryside in either a classic car or a supercar. Our most popular event by far is the treasure hunt, from walking to 4x4 off road. Last year saw us launch and then run several successful Classic Car events and 2010 sees us add to our portfolio with the Supercar event where you can choose from a wide range of cars including:
