Towering Event!

D&S Events this month delivered an event for one of our regular clients but with a merger of departments we were responsible for looking after over 200 delegates.

D&S Events organised all the logistics for the event, accommodation in Portsmouth, a full day of mixed activities including Caterham driving, helicopter rides & falconry and breakout conferences at Goodwood racecourse but the most challenging element was to create a ‘wow factor’ for the evening event.

After researching the options in Portsmouth we discovered the incredible Spinnaker tower, but the maximum room capacity was only 150 delegates so we decided to pull out all the stops and for the first time at the tower we erected a luxury marquee on the second level of the tower.

The build was no easy task as all the marquee and furniture had to be craned onto the platform 2 floors below, to include temporary kitchens and service tents.

The whole event was an amazing success with the wow factor being achieved by the marquee along with the clients logo being laser projected onto the tower along with the tower being lit in full corporate colours.

The client’s delegates were full of praise to the organiser and us for ‘the best event ever!’

Great Group!

D&S Events has delivered several amazing corporate events at its track & facility at Donington Park circuit this month.

One of the events saw 24 delegates from a Leicestershire manufacturing company who have recently had a lot of new colleagues attend a multi activity afternoon to try and establish new friendships and respect for each other.

The events included several team building games for the whole group including our fire engine challenge and F1 pit stop challenge, the team leader concluded a few days after the event that it was ‘mission accomplished! All the team now communicate better and have formed a bond that will see them work more effectively as a great group rather than as good individuals, well worth the investment!’

Italian Job incentive

D&S Events has again been contracted to deliver one of our ever popular ‘Italian Job’ treasure hunts.

The majority of these ‘BMW Mini’ based treasure hunts are UK based but we are once again off to the amazing Umbria region with our client and 10 of their top sales staff to compete in the event.

D&S Events will be sourcing all the vehicles, reserving all the accommodation en route and taking care of the restaurants as well as the most important point – devising a fantastic treasure hunt.

Our client a Midlands based IT company has challenged its sales team to achieve top results over the next 6 months with the reward being this incentive trip for its top performers and partners…… so its sell, sell, sell for the team now!

Summer time is here, time to start planning!

Now that the clocks have gone forward it’s time to start thinking about a company or department conference or team meeting.

Open Day at Donington Park
