INTRODUCTION
D&S Events is very pleased to announce a long term partnership with Donington Park Grand Prix Circuit, Castle Donington, Derbyshire.

The partnership will see D&S Events based at the circuit, with offices in Paddock 2.  The Company’s facilities will include a presentation suite, vehicle storage, 4x4 course, skid area and acres of tarmac.  D&S Events will also be working closely with Donington Park helping to organise and run its events, conferences & exhibitions.

This exciting opportunity provides an even wider range of facilities and excellent new opportunities for D&S Events’ customers, whether for meetings, conferences, team building or corporate events and especially those requiring driver training facilities.

D&S Events Head Office will remain at Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire.

THE VENUE
Opened in 1931, Donington Park is one of Britain's most popular racing circuits.  It is the home of the British Motorcycle Grand Prix (MotoGP) and also plays host to rounds of the British Touring Car Championship, British Formula 3 Championship, British GT Championship, Le Mans Series, and British Superbike Championship and many more.

B&Q

D&S Events this month successfully created & delivered a 4 -day conference & Driver Development Programme for B&Q at its base within Stoneleigh Park.

With over 1100 delegates visiting over the 4 days the planning was critical and included station & airport collections, car parking, registration, catering, briefings & all staff.

The format for the event was a half day sales conference leading onto an afternoon of on-road Driver Training (delivered by Drive & Survive), Parking & Manoeuvring exercises and vehicle defect and fault finding.

Mobility Road show

D&S Events has been appointed the event agency for the 2008 Mobility Roadshow.

The Show will be based at Stoneleigh Park from 12th – 14th June.

D&S Events will be involved in the early planning stages to ensure exhibitors and visitors alike get the most from the show.

The show ground at Stoneleigh is ideal for the event with purpose built exhibition halls, plenty of outside areas, a great road network for the drive appraisals and a 4x4 course.

D&S Events fleet expands

D&S Events has recently expanded its event vehicle fleet by the addition of 2 brand new Ford Fiesta ST’s.  Other vehicles include 4x4 off road vehicles, Quad bikes, Go Karts, Skid Cars and Ford Focus’ for emergency reaction training activities.
The Fiestas are standard vehicles and will be used for on road driver training and for vehicle dynamic training off road.

Conference & Activity Days

D&S Events delivered several conference & activity days during the back end of 2007 and due to their popularity we now have expanded the range of activities and options for clients.

These events can be held at either of our permanent venues at Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire or Donington Park, East Midlands or indeed from any other suitable venue nationally.
