Warwick Multi Activity Day

A recent event at the D&S Events home Warwickshire venue saw 160 delegates transfer to site from a nearby conference hotel to partake in a multi activity day (MAD).  Once on site the group was split into teams and rotated through five activity centres; Motorsport, Country Pursuits, SAS Challenge, Team Event and Compendium.  Each area provided a range of activities to be completed by team members with all scores being combined to provide winners and losers.

The Motorsport area provided both high speed circuit and rally driving challenges as well a team wheel change on a genuine F1 car.

Laser clays, long bows and crossbows provided the events in the Country Pursuits area. With the SAS Challenge being target rifles but with 4x4 off road driving and a quad bike ride having to be completed to reach the range!

Atomic, exhaust rebuild, bridge, spotter and chasm provided the challenges in the Team Event and JCB driving, team quiz and mini treasure hunt were the activities in Compendium.

The event was certainly action packed with little time for standing around and relaxing but with activities for everyone whatever their age and ability.
