Introduction
Golfers with golfers in mind design all of D&S Events Golf
Days. However, having spent a lot of time, too much maybe,
playing corporate golf, the creative team is more aware than most
of exactly what makes a great corporate golf day that will be long
remembered.
Firstly, our resident professional, Dusan Gavrilovic and his team
will be an integral part of every day, meeting and greeting, running
clinics and then ever-present on and off the course.
This package is merely one example of our creative golf
events and gives you some idea about our creativity,
our attention to detail and cost.

The Detail
The course that we have selected for this package is Studley Wood Golf Club,
near Oxford. Just over one hour from Birmingham and London, and 10 minutes
from junction 8, M40 this superb club lends itself to our ideals of corporate
golf.
Firstly the club itself is very welcoming and with our assurance, every
guest is certain of a warm welcome. The Colonial style clubhouse provides superb
views
over the course as well as a lovely setting for entertaining guests. The
welcome starts as soon as you drive into the car park where our hospitality staff
will greet you and your guests.
Registration is informal and is followed
by breakfast rolls and the chance to mingle. An official welcome and briefing
follows and then its time for the three 45 minute clinics on the long game, chipping
and putting run by Dusan and his team. This is where Studley Wood comes into
its own with its superb practice facilities; the 15 bay covered driving range,
putting green and separate chipping green, complete with practice bunker provide
the scene for the clinics and competitions. Improvers and low handicappers alike
will be rewarded with a series of inventive challenges before lunch.
Then it's serious competition time. Armed with their newly honed skills teams
of four will compete for the main prize around this par 73 course. Studley
Wood is perfect for corporate golf, providing a fair but challenging course
for all. Always immaculately presented, the course provides stunning views
as the two nines work their way around the wood. Water provides hazards on
many holes as well as being very pleasing on the eye.
Our professionals and hospitality staff (armed with refreshments) will be on
course to offer advice and spot prizes will also be up for grabs on various
holes.
Once everyone has finished, freshened up (no jackets and ties required) and
swapped ‘near miss’ and ‘if only’ stories, the prize
giving dinner will take place.The warm welcome that greeted you in the morning
will endure easily until the very last of your guests departs.

The Cost
This event comes as a package for 32 golfers and is priced at the
special rate of just £195
per head. This is fully inclusive
of green fees; three golf clinics run by PGA qualified professionals,
breakfast rolls, lunch and three course dinner, event management
and hospitality staff. This also includes an allowance of £250
for prizes and £10 per head for on-course and clubhouse
refreshments.
Extras
Corporate clothing, logo’d golf balls and tees, upgraded
lunch and dinner menus or extra meals are all available if required.
Studley Wood also boasts a state of the art video training bay
as part of the driving range and videos of your guests can also
be purchased.
There is a whole host of accommodation available locally to
suit all tastes and budgets and we would be delighted to organise
overnight accommodation on your behalf.
Bicester shopping village is less than 10 miles away and for
those that would like to include partners who do not play golf
we can also arrange for transport to and from this very popular
outlet mall.
