COURSE
DETAIL
Our Look, See, React presentation sets the scene for the hands
on session to follow. Some simple ideas are discussed in an
informal style before our specialist takes to the wheel to
set the scene, practically. After a short demonstration drive
to settle the nerves each trainee is encouraged to take the
wheel in turn and put into practise some of the new ideas.
The rear seat passengers are kept involved at all times by
our driving specialists who will address all trainees at all
times. Breaks will be taken at regular intervals throughout
the day as these give time to recharge mentally and physically,
they also allow for further discussion and questions out of
the heat of the battle!
Where possible all roads types will be covered by all trainees
whilst the course will be tailored to each individual’s
needs.
Following a stop for lunch the art of commentary driving will
be tackled but by the rear seat passengers, we feel that the
driver is busy enough already trying to put into practise new
ideas and techniques.
Things like road positioning, weight transfer, cornering and
overtaking will be covered during the afternoon session.
PARKING/MANOEUVRING
It is a fact of life that many crashes occur during this ‘simple’ activity
and our course will address this fact in a variety of innovative
ways.

DEBRIEF
It is key that this session isn’t viewed as the end of
the day but as the start of a new style of driving, a new approach
to driving and a new attitude towards driving. A risk assessment
will be filled in with our specialist discussing in detail
each area with each trainee in turn. This assessment will then
form the plan that each driver will take away and be encouraged
to implement.
SUMMARY
Our standard driver-training product is far from standard,
our Driving Specialists are just that but in addition they
are selected for their excellent communication skills and sense
of humour. The course content has been written by people with
a wealth of both hands-on practical training experience and
a wealth of experience working at the top of what is now called
the Fleet Risk Management industry. The cost of this days training
is £295 per day. Why not share the cost with 2 other
friends or family members.
